Of course the 330xd is the faster the 535d only does 0-100km/h in 7.1 seconds

The 530d seems to be the fastest diesel according to 700700 he's even posted the 0-62.5 times right HERE can't argue with that can you !!!
. Think i will trade down to 530d..

My stats are from BMW - 700700's are from autozietung - I'll believe BMW who 700700 assures me always publish conservative figurs (0-60 in 6.5 secs)
700 knows this I'm sure - he's just winding us up...

anyways the times are also here > http://forums.e60.net/index.php?s=&showtop...ndpost&p=264739
what i found is that the new 530d is quicker of the line than the 535d (both unchipped), but once you get to 80km/h the 535d just blows it to bits
after that there is no catching up
but initial traction was a nightmare to get with the 535 (17inch alloys with winter tyres might have been an issue here) , as i had dsc/dtc switched off.
Of course 535d is faster, but the new 530d actually produces around 520nm (see my original observations, see also wetteruaer, see hs elektronics, see kellerners) from 1750nm , and is thus quicker off the line than the 535d
search for my 218bhp Vs 231bhp 530d thread, for observations about the torque distributions. Although the figure 500nm is the same, the new engine produces around 50nm more at low and very high revs... BIG difference
535d is the daddy of the e60 diesels .. of course if you dont comapre it t0 the e420cdi (315bhp/730nm)

strange, what happens to the "small" turbo at low revs for the 535d which the 530d does not have?
I understood you 700700 from the begining, those guys took it too general, that's why i asked!
Lateredit: Why did you brake torque so high? I found out that the best runs are around 1500rpm braketorque. All that's above results for me in a biiig spin.
