Nice decorum (look it up). I'm not slinging anything nor calling anyone names nor swearing on the forum..... just pointing out that at some point after a the several threads and several pages what would be nice to see are results... we all look forward to it, when it happens, huh? Meanwhile, chill a little on the slinging yourself. Or not, doesn't really matter to me.
Good luck,
Hey Cal, the 535 vs 550 debate has been raging here for almost a year, it's been pretty heated and emotional and a lot of times funny ,yet always educational. Pennetta has taken more than his fair share of grief over "the race" which for a lot of reasons just did'nt happen , in fact this thread is the second one about the race.I see that you are a relatively recent member but you likely have lurked for a while as most of us did before jumping in ( and getting addicted ). I don't think you picked up the subtlty of "P"'s post. He was not slinging in the negative sense , lots of us kid each other which may appear to some newer members to be "bashing", but it's all in jest . .................... just a comment on what I think may have been a misinterpreted sling........... it's all good !

Cheers

PS where in Washington are you?

That was a modded 535 vs standard 550. But in closing the 535 owner says;

"I must say i am very impressed with the way the 550 ran vs a modded 535.... from low end i was ahead i would say... highway he would pretty much walk me...
Im sure u guys have been waiting for this for a while.... stock for stock... he would prob beet me pretty bad"

Altough I was not sure what the mod could do.... I still think if the result was otherwise BMW would be very dumb marketing a car like the 535 which could steal from their net sales!!

The mods stated was a JBL stereo system and a fat kid in the car. The 535 took the 550 4 out of five races. What are you guys talking about?

That's what I thought too, from the first OP post, but as the thread developed it was chipped.
