Guys, I thought you would be interested in hearing about a race I've got planned. I know somebody with a remapped Ferrari 360, and a friend of mine knows somebody with a stock Ferrari F430. All I have to do is convince my friend to lend me his car, get my other friend to ask his friend to meet up with me for a race, and then we are going to see which is fastest. We are going to aim for Tuesday, 20th September, 2011. Hopefully it won't rain, because as you all know, cars don't work when it's raining. Watch this space. I will post weekly updates from now until 20th Sept 2011 about the race.
We Yankees do love your persistant English humour, cheerrio!

While I tend to agree that its along the silly lines of things to banter about (the "bigger johnson" quote above was right on the money), I suppose there is a time and place for everything, and if you don't like the thread, you don't have to click on it, true? If Pennetta finds it interesting to discuss and rant, so be it. I dont think we need to judge what he finds interesting to discuss.

Just my two cents.
I actually enjoy these discussions, but after going through 7 pages looking for a video or results, I expected a little more. Oh well.

Habberstad is a Dinan dealer also where I got my last 4 BMW's
are you saying Habberstad is a BMW dealership? AND, they will install Dinan for you? Does that mean they will not void you BMW warranty after you installed Dinan?

Habberstad is both a BMW and Dinan dealer. BMW NA and Dinan have a warranty agreement between them, the vehicle will still be covered for 4 yrs/ 50,000 miles. This is the only aftermarket tuner that BMW has this relationship with.

You're unfortunatley correct. My car is now in the dealer getting the Dinan software programmed, and I was never able to race a 550. This was not due to a lack of trying on my part.
THE END.

Too little too late, but I found out my 535xi was totaled on the Courage mishap. I cannot wait any longer, so I decided to pick up a 550 Habberstad on their lot...If i knew sooner, I could have been your geanie pig. Oh well. See you on the LIE/135/northern state...cheers!
