My auto insurance just totaled my 2006 525i. I test drove a 545i before, it was a beast! But during the time the gas prices were ridiculous! With the gas prices fairly low, I am considering a 545i. I want your suggestions gents! What do you guys think? Let me know, thanks!

When I got my 530, the gas price was like $4+, at the time I found this real nice 545, but backed off due to the gas price.

go for a 550 if u can.

When I was in the market, I was initially looking for the 530. After driving the 545...no competition. The difference in gas consumption is on the order of 2mpg less in the 545....ABSOLUTELY worth it. Plus, there are standard features on the 545 that are optional on the 530...parking sensors, leather, rear sun shades. Most will have nav or sport. Go for it, you will not regret it...I know I havent even when gas was >$4.00 per gallon. Just my opinion, do what is right for you.

You've already test driven the V8/545i, so now if you get a 530, you'll be comparing that I6 to the V8 and wishing you got the V8...

so that being said....my vote is Five-Four-Five...GL with your decision

Not sure it is worth asking, definitely 545 or 550.
