530D: No power below 200RPM

Hi Tuga. The car has done nearly 6000km, but I've noticed no improvement at low revs.
I tried the suggestion to start in DS rather than D and it does improve significantly. Then I tried shifting manually to 1st gear (M1) to start and then the car takes off almost instantly. I got me thinking that, perhaps, the thing is set up so that in the D position the car starts in 2nd. gear. Most Mercs have this feature, they start in 2nd gear when the box is in the E (Economy?) position and in 1st gear when it is in S (for Sport, I presume).

When i put my car to manual it starts in 2nd gear,if i want 1st i have to push the gear lever.In the D & DS position it starts in first,i don't find it sluggish in any mode.The gear box is an adaptive box and will learn from the way you drive your car and will program itself accordingly.
