well the torque curves are meant to show people that dont have the car what it is like. and besides they
can get far more reliable results than using a bum-dyno like your colleque

I spoke to kelleners about chip-tuning of the new 530d (231bhp part)
and they said that at best with a chip you can achieve the results of the older generation 530d (218bhp)...
Why? because the lighter manifold simply cannot take the pressure of such a high output... so here a higher engine output does not nevessarily mean higher tuned output
