Here in NoVA, we're still digging out from an ice/snow storm. There are still many "ice loafs" around the streets. Yesterday (in Tysons for those around here) I was turning into a parking lot and tried to go over a 3-4" ice loaf sitting in the middle of the lane. I thought I had it (go figure). The right front side slid off the ice and pulled the car off the loaf and onto the pavement. The car made a good thud sound and felt like the ice hit underneath the front axle area dead center. More of a frame hit than anything.
The car rides fine, and I didn't see any damage to the plastic tray underneath. Any possibility of internal damage that I need to have checked out or am I being a bit overly concerned for nothing? Sure, take it in for the professional opinion, I know. Check control is clean. Anyone else take a bump like this? Thx.
