p.s.

And for the record....I wouldn't buy a 525i if you
paid me. To me (and quite possibly to a few other
people in life) the 525i symbolizes the guy who
wants a 5 series, but can't afford to step up
to the next level.

And before anyone tries to call me out on my 535i,
I was originally going to get a 550i, but after careful
research I realized that the 535i had more options to
make power than the 550i (aftermarket FI alternatives
excluded).

Same reason why I laugh at guys rolling around town
in "C" class Mercedes trying to look all hard and shit.

Like it or not, these German cars convey some sort
of status, one way or another. It's just my opinion,
but why chance getting caught at a stoplight confrontation
in your entry level 3/5 series?

Assuming of course, a powerful car means something to you.

Ex gf's parents are multi-millionaires and her mom
drives a 525i. Dad drives it too, he has no problem
with the car and lack of power because he doesn't race
it, nor does he drive like 99.9% of all BMW drivers out there:

Like an asshole

wow...

according to that statement anyone that doesn't have an m5 "can't afford to step up to the next level"

I have my 525i Sport sitting next to my GL550 and Land Cruiser VX200, you say I cant afford the next step... In my country we pay up 100% cash up front for our cars and they cost lot more then in American or Europe...

Wow...the stupidy and ignorance that flows forth from the fingertips of some of the members of this forum is....to quote the great Casey Kasem:
Boy, is this fucking ponderous man...ponderous, fucking ponderous.

With regards to my first quoted comment:

I was being sarcastic. Do you know what the word "SARCASM" means?

Anyone with a half of a brain would have immediately seen the sarcasm in that post,
when taken into context with the title/topic/previous comments of this thread.

Yet you in your infinite wisdom and knee jerk reactions was quick enough to put
foot in mouth prior to putting brain in gear.

Do yourself a favor and THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK. What makes this travesty
even worse is that you are posting this in an internet forum. This means that
you have all the time in the world to properly think about your responses before
you post them. Yet you do not.

I would be inclined to believe (just an educated assumption here based upon
several of your posts I have read btw) that you do not hold a position of much
power/responsibility in your normal 9-5 day job. With such ignorant knee-jerk
reactions such as this, I cannot fathom anyone wanting to give you a job where
you are relied upon to critically think in order to get the job done.

Do the words "Carpal Tunnel" have any relevance to your particular line of work?

So far we have:

Krozi
sdg1871

as two individuals on this forum who in their actions/thoughts
have essentially identified themselves as ignorant morons.

Anyone else want to try to take me to task?
Let's get this out in the open right now.

As another great man once said (whom I once had the pleasure
of smoking a blunt 10 years ago down in Long Beach with):

Soy numero uno mero mero.

/bitches.
ynottony:

Thanks for the "compliments". If you wish to believe that I'm an ignorant moron or that I do not hold a position of responsibility in my job you're completely free to do so. I'm sure that there are many on this board who when faced with such remarks would flame right back. But doing so just gives you what you want, doesn't it?

The greater issue is the root cause of the apparent need for so much negative attention. Why ynottony why????

yeah you are correct exactly what debadging we are talking about, I bought my BMW debadged by BMW from factory. If it had that 525 sticker I would remove it any how on 18" rims with the M-Type kit just hit you in the eye when you see that 525. You know that saying "all show - no go!"

For some reason, I can help but think you are describing yourself.....
And talking down lower powered cars is usually a sign of little itty bitty 2 inch penis....

Yet you in your infinite wisdom and knee jerk reactions was quick enough to put

Hrmm.....a reply from you regarding the size of my cock.
I'm sure Freud would have a field day with this one.....

In response to your reply:

A 2 inch penis is derivative
from the ownership of a Porsche
and/or Corvette. (have heard
"Ferrari" on several occasions as
well)

I have heard the above statement
come out of the mouths of more
than one girl that I have dated in
the past.

Again, I don't know nor do I care
to know but when 3 or 4 unrelated
people start saying the same thing...

You gotta wonder...

How did I miss this one? The coffee hasn't yet started flowing through my veins this morning
so I need a few to warm up.

Actually, no. To me (and just to me) a BMW is not worth paying over 100k for. Especially
what you (don't) get with the M5. Only way I would buy an M5 if it was a CPO. I can
get 10x more Mercedes Benz for the same price of an M5.

In my humble opinion, Mercedes Benz's are superior to BMW's. Just better interior ergonomics,
a better looking car and with the AMG package......screw the "M" lol.

Also I was on the edge of purchasing a CLS500/55 about a year ago. I think those cars are gangster.
To me, the interior of the Benz are more refined and luxurious. A bit bigger in the CLS as compared
to the 5 series, I might add.

If I decide to buy a 100k car, it is and will be a Mercedes.
But we can apply my same logic towards the "c" class and "e" class crowd.

And I really don't need everyone in this thread to get butt hurt over a few comments
that I make. You are only setting yourself up for ridicule.

These are my opinions. They also reflect the opinions of a good majority of my friends
and people that I know in life. If you don't agree with me, fine. No worries, go out
and enjoy life.

Well there you have it. The gospel according to YnotTony.
Now go out my children and teach my message to the masses.

And furthermore....I don't see why you people are getting so butthurt from my opinions.
Unless.....you actually agree with one or two things that I have said so far.
Why else would you get so angry for? It's only my opinion.

If some guy from the M5 board came into this thread and said:
"Hey Ynottony, you car is cheaper than mine and slower".

My only response would be:

"That's nice. Fuck you and fuck your opinion, cocksucker."

See how simple it is?

(and umm.....why debadge the 525i for if you are so "proud" to be driving one?)

I'm actually contemplating on debadging my 535i and putting on a 525i badge instead.
It would be hilarious to smoke some idiot at the stoplight, only to have him see the "525i" badge
fly past him on my rear end
