Forum...since it appears I will be stuck with this 525i I purchased to re sell, is there anyway to make this thing a bit faster? I know it will never be the v8's or v12's I own but is there a chip or anything to significantly improve HP?

Lighter wheels, Lighter tires. remove spare, R&R exhaust and replace with lighter muffler and resonator...Use a lighter viscosity oil other than that what he said

Quick answer? It's a muffler, not that complicated. Your stock exhaust system weighs a ton, removing it and getting a much lighter system (such as RPI) will reap obvious and immediate benefits. When I removed my stock exhaust to install the quads I was amazed, the stock muffler looks like a small suitcase - it's HUGE and very heavy.
