525d pre LCI Euro3 and DPF off via WinKFP
Hi!
I'm currently developing a project on DPF removal off my E60.
I know E60 525d pre LCI (M57) engine was available with DPF (euro4) and without it (euro3).
But I'm not sure these engines are identical on hardware level. For example 530d are different in Euro3 and Euro4 versions (injectors and VNT actuator).
So can anyone confirm that it's possible to flash this ECU with Euro3 firmware using WinKFP to disable DPF function?

Interested to hear how you get on. I was sort of hoping the DPF would just be a VO code on your current firmware that could be removed. There must be a clean way of disabling the DPF function because people offer the service.

Hope I can adapt it it for my M57. I have sp daten for Euro 3 engine. So are the DDE ECUs same in euro3 and euro4. That is the question))
