Actually no... I looked at your configurator
It's the same rule as in Ireland...
You have to pay extra for metallic paint for any model less than 3.0 litres
M-sport or not.
Ummmm correct but Ummmmm not being picky the new 525 d M Sport is 3ltr

Yeah, sorry had been doing a few builds with 3.0 litre didn't realise the cheapscapes make you pay for paint on 2.5 and lower.

Not being picky but ... not yet ... at least on the current non-LCI configurator.
It will be interesting to see when they move over the LCI in March (i.e. the point that the 525d will get a 3.0l engine instead of a 2.5l) ... if metallic paint will be thrown in! Somehow I doubt they will be so generous...

I've ordered mine due to build week 12, whilst the configurator is still showing Gen1 and not LCI, I can confirm that Metallic remains a cost option, least it did for me

You know when discussions get several responses in such a short time it does lend to the argument of having a chatroom here on the forums.

My 525d will be built on week 10, and metallic paint won't be a no cost option on the LCI models.

I'm off to the dealership here in around an hour to have my 745 serviced, HOPING & PRAYING for an update on my e60 Order, Last i had was mid april delivery BUT with a hope of March as the dealer was pushing his Q1 sales.

I wonder if the LCI brochures will be avaliable hmmmmm

I'll report back around lunchtime GMT

I got a brochure thru the post from my dealer. Just the large one, not the small price/options brochure. Nothing radical in there.

Nothing BIG to report other than they are still hoping for a March delivery time, one thing i would say is that if your in the UK expecting your shinny new e60 real soon and have a cherished plate, It's advised you put your pate on a retainer asap as trabsfers are taking on average 2-3 weeks.

My deal includes a ?4k discount of list on the basic car.

Damn I'm excited if it's a March Delivery and realistically it's not going to be the 17th then i only have the 25th & 31st as collection options woohoo either 10, 17, 24 or on the outside 31 days to go
