to all owners of a 525 , how satisfied are you with your 525 in terms of power, comfort, ride? are they worth keeping or a lease would be better?

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
I love mine.
Works perfect, even in these shitty and cold winter conditions,
and it does so in the summer as well.
Minus 30 to plus 30 Celsius!
The 525iA gives my a lot of driving pleasure everyday,
with great comfort, but most important, everthing works the way I like it,
to the perfection.

My Ride: 2005 525i Titanium Silver Metalic and 2003 325xi Jet Black with the Premium Package in both cars.
Ditto my friend. I fully enjoy my 05 525i, it fits my needs, great ride, decent power, all the comforts of home, plus I own it.
525i has great speed, especially in DS mode. Honestly the 530i's 40hp is not worth it IMHO (costs 10K more from 525-->530 here in Canada). I go to speeds of 200km/h+ easily, car stays very smooth and stable at that speed also.

agreed.
for 06 ones in the n. america, i didn't find the 530i is worth its money.
for that matter, i think 06 525i is really good for the money value.
regarding power...if you have one or two passengers in the car excluding the driver, you won't really have many complaints, but once there are 4 ppl in the car and some luggages....u might think about getting a bigger engine.
For the mine i have, 06 525i, i have to say i am very satisfied. I am leasing mine right now and have no regret at all. I would rather regret it if i'd paid full amount money.
I think the lease rate has been increased a bit but i still think leasing one will be better idea than actually purchasing one. (U will think about getting more powerful engine after 3 years i'm sure
)
