Well, imop hell no! Maybe if I were spraying them satin/flat black. Or if my car looked like crap and I didn't care. Your looking at about 60.00 for materials to make it look like it supposed to. I seriously doubt that paint even comes close to matching. I guessing these mirrors weren't cheap so don't ruin them with bad paint.

you do have to dissemble the mirrors prior to the paint job. trust me, it takes a while to do that. for me, the paint job was only 150 in seattle, and I put everything together after get the mirrors painted. if you are a busy person due to work or whatever, $200 is good deal in my opinion.

I'll just do a test, will paint part of a broken bumper that I have laying in the garage to see how it comes out, if it's not a match, then I'll prob have it done by a professional (Tony or local shop)

I paint. you're never going to get a match with BMW paint. You have to blend. panels. Also you have to take in consideration age of the paint on the car but really should not be a problem if you are blending. Never paint a bumper off a car and install it hoping to match. You will have paint the entire panel (bumper) and blend the quarter panels and trunk and then clearcoat the all panels. therefore they require wetsanding as well to scuff the previous clearcoat.
For mirrors you can just take the covers off and do them separate. If you're painting black , you're golden. If you are painting the bases flat black to match the shadowline trim then you're also golden. Just tape off properly.
