My gym partner wants to know. He says 34 front 36 rear rides too hard. I keep telling him to sign up on the greatest automotive forum in existence.

If I recall, it should be 35psi front and 38psi rear. So if he set it to what it should be, he'd really be complaining. Ask him what's worse, a stiff ride or damaged wheels? Because that's what he's going to have if he keeps his pressures too low and drives on pothole scarred roads.

I thought 32f/35r was recommended inflation. But then again he has 19" 172's. I have the stock 18" Type 124's. Does that make a difference?

I believe by having more air in the rears will cause a slight understeer situation. For better handling it was recomended to me to have either same air pressure front and rear to 1-2 .lbs more in the front to innitiate a slight oversteer for faster steering response.
