Yeah, I've had the computer read at least 2-3 mpg more than my actual gas pump calculations of miles travel divided by fuel consumed. The best I've gotten is about 29 mpg on a 300 mile roadtrip with almost all freeway. But in my normal cummute - I get about 21-22 average of 50/50 city hwy driving.

Yep that is right.

My 545i I've hit 30MPG a few times. Usually I'm always around 28.2 to 29.2 going about 70 to 75MPH.
How did you do that? I get only 20.1....was 18.6 and after I installed the aFe it went to 20.1?

I've gotten 31 mpg for highway driving after resetting the ave. fuel consumption thing on the highway. This is off a 545 on LA freeways and over a stretch of 30 miles on 5 different freeways.
Same here. If you're looking for economy, tool around the freeway at 60-65MPH (in the slow lane and use the guilt-o-meter to keep you above the 30 mark. It CAN be done...easily.

You have to check it manually. The computer calc on mine reads the same, when I am actually getting around 21-22. On a trip, driving 80mph, I get about 25.5 - 26.5 (computer reads 30-31).

I am very impressed with the mileage, but the computer is way off.
