2nd bad computer
Another bad computer i guess. They reprogrammed the computer on my 535 around 3500 miles. Every since then i have been getting the TPM sensor on the I-drive and dash, but everything is okay with the tires. Had started to get use to it. This morning, I crunk up the car to warm up before going to work, and the whole system is confused. I dont have "memory keys" to move the seats and when i crunk it up this morning, the seats moved, radio changed, sunroof open and closed and wipers came on as well. After wondering whats going on, my I-drive starts displaying a million error messages. Engine oil below minimum level, washer fluid low, rear brake pad - 20miles; service overdue. I cut the car off and let it set for a few minutes, crunk it again and everything happened again in the same order!! I dont know if its the computer or what. I took a chance and drove it all the way to work, car still runs fine. The error messages stayed the entire time, but the wipers stopped working a few times and so did my sunroof. The car has 10,000 or so miles and im glad its a company car, because it definelty has a computer issue of some kind.I took it to the Performance Center and the guy said that he doesnt know whats causing it act a fool like this. I am supposed to check back next Monday on it.
Out of all the 08 5 series i have had this one had given me trouble since day 1!
They gave me a 335i Sedan - Jet Black / Black with 990 miles
- Camera pic - of course i had to take it to the car wash on my lunch break and give it some much needed water!
Im convinced that BMW gives you gray cars. Cars they dont want sold to the public so dump them on the employees. Ive never heard of 1 person with so many issues with so many different NEW BMW's. Also, I wonder how your employer would feel knowing you tell everyone how F'd up your new BMW's are. Cant possibly be a good thing. Then again, what do I know?
