Default 2AA8 Error Code - N52 2008 530i

Hi guys.

Wondering if anybody out there can give me some help here.

So I ran a scan via BimmerLink and BimmerTool Lite, got the following error:
*2AA8 - 2AA8: 0x2AA8 variable intake system actuator: control*

After clearing the code, and went for a drive and then rescan. Code came up again.
Note - No engine light at anytime, however did feel a slight stutter/hunt on idle.

Did some reserarch, and can only find a relation to the DISA valve.
So I monitored the DISA valves live via a dashboard, and the readings are:

After Code Reset
Actual DISA Position: 5%
DISA1 - Large: Spiked to 70% During start up - then stayed on 15%
DISA2 - Small: Spiked to 70% During start up - then stayed on 15%

After Scanning and seeing 2AA8 Code:
Actual DISA Position: 5%
DISA1 - Large: 15% (Even during start up)
DISA2 - Small: 15% (even during start up)

I now have tried to replicate the above, but for some reason I can't. That is, after clearing the code - when I crank the car or go on reds, DISA 1 and 2 will just stay on 15% value.

Wondering if anybody here has any recommendations moving forward ?
I'm thinking of taking out the DISA and see if it actually moves as well as if it moves when I go on reds... problem is, I'm not even sure where the DISA is, even after looking at RealOEM exploded diagrams...since there are two units ?

From RealOEM

Thanks in advanced for any help guys

lol

So a few months back - maybe 3 - 4, my mechanic replaced all upper seals on the rocker cover and Oil heat seals ?
Now that time till now Ive had no engine lights, however after getting my BT - OBD adapter + Bimmercode and Bimmerlink...the scans showed that 2AA8 error...

So I'm assuming my mechanic didn't plug it back in...

I'm surprised it didn't throw any engine light/limp mode ?
