Well I got it back today and they kindly photocopied about a dozen pages of the Measures Plan and Final Report for me.

Not had time to look at the xenons yet but the fuel consumption has improved dramatically.

A motorway journey that had been returning 35 mpg imperial has gone to over 40 mpg imperial.

Has anyone had the upgrade to v. 25 from v. 24.0? I have an '07 550i with v. 24.0 and am trying to decide if it is worth getting the upgrade.

Thanks

Without question, have it done without further delay.

I had my '06 550 upgraded yesterday. I love the improvements. Like others, I find the shift points on my Step much better, much smoother. Other minor things I have noticed that I have not seen others mention:

1. My ipod adaptor is faster. It load the songs much faster, and there is not the long delay while "CD tracks are loading"
2. My ipod keeps playing while I search for other songs. It used to stop playing as soon as I navigated away from the track that was playing to look for a new song.
3. During navigation commands, the nav voice would completely cut out any other audio source (CD, ipod, radio, etc.). Now, the other audio source is softer, but can still be heard as the nav voice talks over it.

Thats all I can think of at the moment, but I will post other things as I notice them

Thanks for the prompt feedback guys. I'll be scheduling the upgrade ASAP and let you know what differences I see.

I've had this update applied to my 535d (Prof nav) as part of an overall sorfware update under some warranty work. It's a huge improvement and I'm extremely happy with the result. As Wildcat said, just get it done.

All the best
Matt
