got new wheels
My current wheels
OE 19" M double spoke 172
Tires Continental
Front axle 245/35R 93Y 81/2JX19 ET:18
Rear axle 275/30R19 96Y 91/2JX19 ET:32
![](http://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww95/champaign777/2010_bmw_550i/P1011553_zps9b9e1623.jpg)
replacement
OE 20" LAW V Spoke 356
Tire Dunlop SP Sport Maxx DSST ROF
Front axle 245/35R20 95Y 81/2JX20 ET:33
Rear axle 275/30R20 97Y 9JX20 ET:44
![](http://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww95/champaign777/2010_bmw_550i/wheels/P1011942_zpsf8e0e4db.jpg)
just installed them and front is touching my struts, i need spacers ASAP
These wheels/fender front offset is 17MM and rear is 32MM
I am thinking about
Front :
12.5 MM spacers ( new ET:33 - 12.5 = 20.5 where old ET:18 so front will be less wide on 2.5MM to be on the safe side to prevent rubbing because of 20" wheels )
Rear
17.5 MM spacers[ ( new ET:44 - 17.5 = 26.5 where old ET:32 so rear will be more wide on 5.5MM , i think there is a space and it should not rub )
Theoretically i can go by 15/20 MM .
Any thoughts before pulling the trigger

i too like style 172 ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
the reason i bought second OE set is because its 20" and style 172 19" is too small for this car

Yeah, the 172s look way better, despite being only 19". Those look like 19s too! If you are having so many problems keeping your wheels clean, change your brake pads to ceramic...

dont mess up with ebay ![Angry](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/angry.gif)
I was smart enough ( or lucky ah ) to do a Road Force Balance before installation
2 wheels are BENT from the inside ( 37 and 27 Lb ) and y cant even see it
thanks to PP for help , 356 M6 wheels are returned to "like new condition seller" and i am done with ebay
You right folks , 172 is all it needs !
now with 15MM spacers on rear wheels
No rubbing and it looks like a factory setup "_"
Me like
