I have a 08 550i with 16,500 miles and thinking of trading for a 06 m5 with about 25k miles. Do you think I can get a straight trade for it? The m5 is being listed for 59.9k If not, how much do you think I should pay to get an m5.

YOUR CAR IS WORTH ABOUT 47 TO 50G`S... SO NO YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO JUST SWAP... but work the deal.. a 2006 m5 books out for 47k in mint conditon.. with 21k on the clock for every 1000 miles over you deduct 325..so the car in the book is about 44 TO 45 g`s... so work the deal.. you just mite be able to swap it out... and get some money in return... G/L

The 06 has 7 Speed SMG Transmission, Navigation System, Voice Activation, In Dash CD Player With 6 Disc Changer, Homelink Garage Door Opener, Head-Up Display, Logic7 Sound System, Xenon Headlights with Adaptive Light Control, Power Moonroof, Park Distance Control, Heated Power Front Seats With Lumbar Support And Driver Memory, Rear Side-Impact Airbags, Power Rear Sunshade, Fold Down Rear Seats, Retractable Headlight Washers, Madeira Walnut Wood Trim Interior, Rear Spoiler, Tinted Windows, Bluetooth

they are asking 59,900 for the vehicle. What do you think I should pay to be in this car if any?

you see the m5 really comes with all that stuff already except the nav.. witch is a 1000 add on... to be honest a fair price is around 49 to 52g`s in (imo) i appraze cars all day... and at auction thats how much these cars go for... who ever is selling this car is lQQking to make about 6 to 8G`S profit.. just see what you can work them down to.. the market right now is not the best even for a car like this... do u have a vin# i can run a carfax for you ill tell you if it`s a clean car.....

Listen to him he is telling you the truth.

I doubt you could ever pull straight up trade. So if that is only way of getting the deal done I think I'd put it to rest because I doubt that would happen. I think you'll be looking around 7K to 10K out of your pocket.

Check your PM. Based on the VIN, what do you think i should work towards on this vehicle.

I agree with 530iSport on the value of your car. I have been researching '08 used 550 Sport's with about 11 or 12K miles on them, and most are selling for $52K or so, on Autotrader, etc. I was offered a 550i Sport by a dealership for $51.5K. It has 11K miles and stickered for $69K and is MINT. So, fyi on the value of your car...you could probably expect around $49K for it, but only as a private sale. GL!
