Key Fob batteries are free from BMW dealers for cars under warrantee. At least here in Toronto. The batteries are also called CR2032 and are available almost everywhere where watch batteries are sold.

Dealer is a few km away so if I'm out and about in his area, I'll get both fobs done at once. Plus I love to drive the car. LOL

My jobs office space is conveniently located in the BMW of Manhattan building. A trip to the dealer is essentially me going to work.
