I am new to the forums and currently own an Audi but am seriously looking at purchasing a 2008 550i. I have two questions, one is whether or not the car is equipped with a limited slip, and two, any suggestions on must have options? It seems like prices are dropping quite a bit on both this car and the m5's but i need to keep the budget under 50k and i want something with low miles and 2008 or newer so i think the M5 is out of the question.

 

There is no limited slip except for the M cars...

The 2008 550i is a great car. The sport package is a must. Prices on it will probably drop considerably once the F0 debuts.

 

minimum must have: sport package, nav, logic 7

 

if im correct dont all 08 550's come with sport package? just saying it seems dumb as hell if they didnt, it shouldnt even be an option.

There was a really nice looking 08 on ebay a few days ago, with lots of options and under 8k miles. It might still be there or in the archives. Well under 50k.
