Have a buddy in New York area wanting to purchase a 2008 550 with sports package, logic 7, cold weather pkg, i-pod adaptor and Nav, what is a current fair price for this vehicle on an outright purchase?

BMW dealerships don't deal too much, so don't expect much off that price, if at all.

 

1000 - 1500 over invoice.

 

Any Idea what dealer cost would be , Msrp is like 68k

 

Just tell them what you are willing to pay over invoice,in most cases they will take it to the sales manager and the negotiating starts , just know where you want to be at the end ..... good luck

Ive heard the going rate is about $2000-$2500 over the invoice.

Is it what the sales person told you?? You can get great discount some certain models, maybe not 550.

 

You can definitely get a decent deal on a BMW, at least in the southern california area. Mine was $69,700, and I got it for $65,200. I went through their internet sales manager and barely had to negotiate anything. Perhaps one of THE most pleasant car buying experiences ever.
