I recently traded my 2005 545 in for a 2008 550. (I am really pleased with the improvements, particularly the revised Active Steering and the Sport Automatic).

Will my old winter wheels (for blizzaks) cause a continuous flat tire alert as they do not have electronic sensors?

You will get an error on the dashboard.

You should find out if your wheels can accept the sensors. If they are, you can add the sensors for about $150-$200, plus the cost of remounting and rebalancing your tires.

Yes.

(P.S. - why not update your signature to reflect your new car?)
