A few years ago, VW had a colour called platinum grey. While the BMW colour might be very different... it might give us a clue. It was kind of close to Titanium Grey.

Cream Beige has replaced Beige Interior. Cream Beige is now on the 3 Series Coupe and 6 Series.
I haven't seen that one for a while. Isn't it a fair bit lighter than the standard 'sand beige'?

Ivory White leather, Rhodium Silver metallic paint... what's in a name?

Heaven forfend, but most paint shops have problems matching ANY kind of silver.

Yes, that is correct. There is very little beige in it at all. It looks almost white.

Thanks for posting the info!

I wonder if the Sport Automatic is the DSG-type box that's supposed to be coming out?

That is a very good question, we shall soon find out!

Jaguar's Ivory White as I mentioned (without the allusion to Jaguar).

10 different paint manufacturers will give colours that are similar to the naked eye 10 entirely different names. And the shades are only similar until you try to match them.

So subtle that no second hand image (computer, print or video) can replicate it. Even the "swatches" in a showroom don't give a good idea.

The only way to understand the subtleties of these colours is to see them oneself in situ with a good light source.

You're right. At least cream beige already exists in the 6 series and E92 so at least we have a chance of checking it out in person now.
I saw it a couple of times but didn't pay too much attention so will have to go back to the dealership and have a look.

I have seen the cream beige, and I like it more than the current beige. I would only order it if it came with black carpets, cant imagine trying to keep almost white carpets clean...

Here... most people who order beige leather opt for velour mats in black.
It looks really nice with the black dash and wheel and they are much easier to keep clean.

I wouldnt want just the mats in black, I would want all the carpeting in black. Thats one reason I got the Auburn.
