Hello everyone,
My 07 530i is having some random transmission issues that seem to be caused by the SMG relay. Does anyone know where this is located on the 2007? I have been able to find 2 fuse boxes but I have not seen the salmon box that I have so often seen described.

Any help or advice would be helpful.

hood up -----> Passenger side close to the windshield ------> black box -----> take the screws off and you`ll see it there.

What kind of problems you have with your SMG?

BTW...i have SMG transmission parts for sale (pump, ECU etc etc).
On my car the transmission was screwed.
