Finally found these print outs. 2 pulls - Power at the wheels seems to be right on with what BMW states. The car is completely stock.

No this is about right. It makes 360 bhp at the crank. But there is a 15-20 percent loss by the time it gets to the wheels: http://www.banzairunnerpantera.com/techinfo_calcs.htm
So assuming a 20 percent loss, 360 horsepower at the crank equals 288 at the wheels -- basically right on par with the results of this dyno.

It's an open secret that BMW's official, published figure of 300 bhp for the N54 engine is way too low. It is, IMHO, to attempt to differentiate the N54 engine from the 550's V8. But the acceleration numbers for the 535 and 550 are very similar. And that's because the 550's V8 is just a tad more powerful than the N54 engine.

Yea is the car an auto (short for automatic lol)? You kinda threw '6mt' in there at the last second, which is it, auto or manual gearbox? You should be able to call and see what kind of dyno was used, dynojets seem to be the standard for conversation sake when talking rear wheel power. Mustang dynos tend to read 10% lower. So a clarification of dyno type may help explain your numbers. And yes 20% dirvetrain loss from published hp ratings is high this day in age.
