Hello All:
Please see this youtube video I made of a problem I am having quite a bit lately. First, the car went in for a week and and I was told my fuel injectors were bad and BMW NA replaced all of them at no cost. That didn't solve the problem, the car went in for another week and at the end of this week, the answer was "you may have bad gas". So I swapped gas station stops and that has not solved the problem.
I have noticed the problem usually occurs after highway driving (say to work), parking the car for 2-3 hours, then getting in and going.
Anyone experience this issue? Dealership claims this has "never been an issue". One would think a car with a sticker price of nearly 70k should start when its barely 4 years old.
Thanks!

It is not CPO. I bought it from an independent guy that goes to BMW auctions, details the cars and sells for a very reasonable mark up over auction price. Got the car with 48,900 miles and purchased a three year extended warranty.
Is there a way to go over my local dealerships head? Contact info?

If the music wasn't playing when the car started it might be easier but it sounds like a knock/hydrolock issue. Esp. so since the revs. stay really low for a while.

It's always hard diagnosing on a forum, but at least you did provide a video. I would change the simple things first, like the fuel filter. It used to be about sixty bucks and was in the passenger side rear wheel well. Easy to change. Symptoms are different from car to car.
Is there any maintenance history on the car? What did the dealer try to fix? Is it throwing any codes?

It's probably one of your engine sensors. I'd have someone check the camshaft position sensor(s) since these are a common BMW engine failure item.
