Hello everybody. I'm glad to be here to discuss our "wives" (that's what I call my car: looks good, high maintenance, wil probably end up costing me at least most of my money :-) )

 

I actually think I made a huge error in going for the MY05 545i. I drove a 1998 528i for years and was (almost) perfectly content. Now that I have the 8 cylinder I know I can never go back. The power (and those SMG paddles) are just plain addictive.

I think the only reason to go for the 530 is financial concerns. However, Kelley Blue Book says that two features that significantly increase resell value are bigger engines and nice wheels. (And the 545 has them both.)
