2006 525xi Airbag Gateway module
Hey guys this is my first post, I just purchased a 2006 525xi with both airbags deployed plus both seatbelts, & battery safety disconnect. I replaced everything but my tec tells me that the airbag module is still sending a fault. I can purchase a used one for $140.00. Will I have to take this car to the dealer to reprogram the used unit to work with my car?

if you buy a used one the guys at euautohaus can flash it for you remotely dude. They did a used DME for me a while back and helped me get rid of the MRS issues (seat mat occupancy sensor issue).

Hey Achtunge60 : I have a used airbag module but my indy cant program it to my car since it already has an existing vin# coded and stuff. Other than euautohaus, can you recommend some or know other shops who does the re flash /reset ? euautohaus i think closed shop.
