2006 525i handled like crap in recent NJ snow storm lol..

Hi,
I took out the 2006 525i out on snow 2 days and it was crappy.. i have stock tires which supposed to be ALL-SEASON.. and the car is getting stuck everywhere there is snow... it was embarrasing in public when a oold japanese cars were able to drive through that snow just fine.. and i was pulling mine back and forrth, diff sides to get it off the snow lol.. I was holding all traffic since it took like 5mins to just get the damn thing out of snow
I turned on DTC to see if helps.. but nada.. it did nothing! Am I missing something here?
Edit: This is a recent <1mo. old CPO car, so tires are non-Runflats and new.

I heard that throwing some weight into the trunk will help with traction.

Where we gonna find weight to put in trunk .. but, I think i either need a sep. set of dedicated "Winter Tires+wheels" and "Summer Tires+wheels" for optimal operation. (Yikes, costs just keep on rising.. )
I guess ALL-Weather is just a marketing thing.
Edit: Gas was 85% full..

Yes, multiple threads on this, you need winter/snow tires. I have had them on every car I've owned.

my 530i (Conti tires 225) and my M3 (Michelen tires 225front/245rear) both handled the snow in NJ pretty well for RWD (no more than 50 MPH) as long as you took the traction control off. Of course having a heavy foot makes the fun begin but not stuck or anything like this.
