With 29K miles on the clock I think it falls outside the bulletin... it was for tires < 20K miles.
I just got rid of the Dunlops and went with PS2's. The ride is like night and day. You may want to consider doing the same. I agree that it will be tough to get them to replace unless there is under 20K miles on the tires.

Are the PS2s run flat tires? If not, any concerns with the warranty. I do have a spare so I never understood why BMW equipped these cars with run flats.

Thanks...

Unless there's a record of the tires being replaced once before -- based on the tread depth, it may be easy to prove that there are less than 20K miles on the tires (not the car.)

No, they're not run flats. No issue with the warranty as far as I am aware and certainly no concerns on my part about warranty issues.

I contacted the service advisor this morning and he is going to have the lead technician test drive the vehicle tomorrow afternoon. As far as the tires are concerned, he said that I am not covered under the TSB because of the mileage. He believes what I have are the original factory tires. I didn't realize you can squeeze that much mileage out of the Dunlop RFTs. Thoughts anyone?

Unless they're really bald, I'll bet they've been replaced once. I agree that you won't likely get that kind of mileage from those tires...
