2005 530i - slow/sluggish

i have 2005 530i. it has arnd 110,000 miles on it. Its become kinda slow & sluggish. there is a gap when i press the paddle and engine kicks in.
The pickup has just like died, it wasn't like that at all.
I have had sparks plugs replaced when it hit 100000K and also the dealer scammed me into changing the transmission oil which i later learnt wasn't required.
Any suggestions what should I do or is it just that it has a lot of miles on it now?
Thanks

In regards to sluggish speed. Make sure you use Shell gas, 93 octane all the time. Also, clean your MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor), clean or change your air filter, and you may want to also strongly consider BMW's fuel enjector cleaning service ($140) but its worth it.
Our cars love maintenance, and if you maintain them, they will give you 110% for YEARS and YEARS. BMW is an amazing car but only if you take care of it with preventative measures.

He didn't "scam" you into changing the transmission fluid. As a matter of fact, you should thank him. There is no such thing as "lifetime fluid". That is BMW marketing bullshit to lower cost of ownership on their cars. Change your trans fluid again at 130,000 miles and every 30,000 miles after. Change your oil every 7,000 miles not 15,000 if you want to enjoy your car for a long time.

I don't know about Mass Air Flow which u suggested to clean. Is there a DIY or should I just take it to my mechanic?
Thanks

make sure ur air filter is clean. Dump those injector cleaners into the gas tank for 3 tanks in a row.
As for transmission fluid change. Some people recommends it. Some people do not. From what I've heard, new oil can react with the old one to damage the seals. But since the dealership told you to do it, it should be there responsibility. Tell the dealership about your slow/sluggish issue and have them check the transmission fluid level.
The transmission fluid is a lifetime fluid. But only lifetime of the transmission not the car. I recommend changing it every 60K if you do spirited driving and 30K after if you drive hard. But if you drive like a normal person without a heavy foot, you never have to change it.
