like I said, BMW is probably confused as well, i tried the MP3 retrofit, did not work, but the ipod works but no MP3 in single cd slot for my 02/2005 No Nav vehicle

Sorry guys, forgot to let you all know - I am from Los Angeles, CALI. So the car is an American Model... right now it is going through the factory service. Will check with the dealer if it can play MP3 CDs.

Mp3 should play in you vehicle if you have an 05 model. I have attached the SIB concerning this issue. Take this to the dealer, if you vehicle is still under warranty, they should be able to do this. I know 04 wouldnt thats why i did the swap. (Thanks VT).

Where did you come apon the mp3 cd player? Did you buy it or did you get it from a wrecked unit. If purchased how much did it cost? and did it take any codeing to get it to work
What would the denison do for you now that you have mp3 capabilities?

The requirments for dension is to have mp3 capabilites in order for it to work. I opt to purchase that instead of BMW ipod adapter to also keep my existing cd changer, and have USB capabilities.
