My Ride: 2004 545i Sport loaded
Hey guys! I have a question, hopefully someone here can help..
I have a 2004 545ia sport. It has heated rear seats. When you push the button for the heated seats on either side, the indicator lights come on, but then as soon as you release the switch they go out and the seat does not heat.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I need to do to fix it? I'm guessing there's a relay in there somewhere, but I have no idea where it's located or what the part number would be to get a new one...
Thanks,
exx

Where would those buttons be? I have never seen or heard of it before...I wonder if mine has that.

I have them too and they work perfectly, the kids love them!
Works the same way as the front seats and the buttons are located below the rear center heating vents.

I have this problem, but only on the left hand side... i was going to dismantle the switch housing and change connectors to see if the switch is at fault - after finding that this isn't easy, I'll give this idea a bash first
thanks Turb
