I currently have a 2004 530i, pretty much a base model (no sports package, no cold weather package, no gps) with under 80k miles on it. I was on craigslist and saw this ad for a 2007 328i coupe with sports package which suits me much better since I'd prefer a smaller car. The 328 has almost 100k miles though. I was wondering if it would be worth it to trade? I'm not sure how much maintenance will be after the 328 hits 100k miles.

I would never buy an N52 powered car unless I knew it had the updated cylinder head, but that's just me. It certainly is a beautiful car.

 

Find it hard to believe you would be happy in a 3 series after driving a 5. My wife thought the 3 was a great car till we drove the 5. Then she made me get the 5. They are deffinitely two very different cars. Just make sure you drive it first then just enjoy. No matter what it is a BMW.
