My 2004 530i (E60) IDrive/navigation unit only starts in the mornings cold start. It works perfectly when it starts no matter how long the car is driven. When I turn off the car and restart within 10 minutes, the IDrive still comes up working. However, if I leave the car off for a few hours, the unit will not start till next morning. There is no other problem with the car and changing battery didn't help. According to dealer I need a new CCC unit. Anyone has seen similar issue with the IDrive?
