Something else has happened on the car now, the idrive said "Drive control system problem ... Drive moderately" last night, which happened to coincide with the first snow (I was in Scotland heading back to London) not the best time to go without stability/traction/abs.
Didn't want to be without the DSC, so I rebooted it. It came back with no errors after the 3rd try.
Anyone else seen this ?
I'm going to see if I can convince them to update the software and check the sensors and subsystems .... all this electronics, makes you wonder if it'll blue screen one day
I started another topic about poor starting as well.
On the positive side, the car goes well, is comfortable, has just about the right blend of handling / comfort, even on the 18" rims. Averaged 36mpg (UK) on the trip to and from Scotland, average cruising speeds about 85-90mph, on private roads naturally.

I've done a brim-to-brim measurement and calculated the mpg to be 38mpg, despite the idrive saying 35mpg, so the fuel consumption is even better. Thats at highway speeds. Remember to take off 15% to get US gallon mpg ....
Anyone thats has experienced the "Drive Control System Error" ?
