2 stroke oil in 530 d

hi all im new to the forum and ive got to ask this
can you put 2 stroke oil in a e60 with a dpf ,im doing it at the moment and its making such a difference in engine noise and smoothness.having a discovery 3 before they swear by it so Ive been doing this for 2 years with no problems are there any dpf boffins on here to say you can or cannot cheers daz

No idea about BMWs but the diesel trucks run two cycle as an additive all the time. In america, the sulfur and other lube products were removed from diesel in the name of the environment....problem is the injection system gets extremely worn and will have premature failure. hence the reason I sold my 2002 diesel for a e60. Was having an injection failure. I say run it if you in USA..the diesel here needs more lubrication.
