interesting: I have 19.2 too but with a UK English/French/Spanish langage system (I use Voice recognition in UK english)

Entertainment still has same name: not Audio

I have the Motorola BMW phone and now it has several languages to chose from including Dutch.

I have no "Daylight running lights" submenu; probably for Scandinavia only ?

Same here with the upper back door; still no warning; except you can not set to car on alarm when this part is not closed.
I've just checked and confirmed that Entertainment still the same when UK English language is selected. But when French is selected, Entertainment has been translated by Audio since with CIP 19, previously, it was translated "Divertissement".

I 've had the "daylight running lights" since CIP 17.

Strange. I see that you have Pro Nav and I have Business Nav : that may explain the difference.

I got 19.x last week, but they somehow disabled the bluetooth and also BMW assist. Is that something that they need to enable, or could they have blown my TCU?

There aren't any bars on the antenna under any conditions, where there used to be all the time.

Anyone know about this problem?

I just had 19.1 installed yesterday... went flawlessly. I now have RDS function and my service interval mileage is now correct. The only issue was that I needed to re- pair my bluetooth phone to the car. Went relatively easy and only took about 5 minutes from start to finish including uploading my phonebook, etc. All in all a good experience. This is my first visit to the service department since I picked up the car in Munich last March! I had decided I needed an oil change since I just couldn't swallow going 15k miles before getting on. I had 7k miles on it and the service light said I still had 13k miles to go. Anyway when I brought it to the dealer they said there was a recall and that my software needed updating. So there you go!

Hello KariFi,

I noticed you have Michelin tires.

Are they RF's (and what is the exact brand name) and how do they manage on the crappy Finnish roads?
Eli "veteleek? urissa"? Some Finnish, sorry guys.

I have a heck of an problem with my 245/40 Dunlop RF's!

Hi

Michelin's are Pilot Sport 2's 245/40 ZR 18, no RF's. I really can't say anything negative about cars handling w/ those tires, at least w/ active steering. I had a loner before my car arrived w/ 235 17" Pirelli's, and changing to Michelin's was a pleasant surprise from every point of view.

The problem w/ these tires is that the rear tires melted away really quickly, compared to experiences w/ my earlier BMW's. So, after turning into slicks, I replaced the rear Michelins w/ Conti SportContact 2's, same size naturally. The handling changed in corners, but I think it's only natural when 2 tyre brands are mixed. After a few thousand kilometres I can't notice the difference anymore. Still, no problem w/ straight road handling. Front tires have got lot of mm's to go still, so I'm not going to change them before next summer.

Another thing, compared to Nokian winter tires w/out spikes (225/55 R16), Michelin's are a lot noisier. Maybe same thing w/ Conti's, can't tell yet.

And still too early to tell if the Conti's will last longer.

Kari

Well, CIP 19 is installed now :
- amber LEDs are back (as everybody, lost with CIP17)?
- apparently no new menus or buttons
- every settings have been preserved
- cosmetic changes like the first letter of words now always in caps
- one more visible change, the "entertainment" menu has been renamed "audio"?

May be this is a way to know if an E60 has CIP 19 or later ?
