I called my local BMW dealership and I was quoted $1126 each w/o tires... I spoke to the guy on the phone about the discount Newport is giving to forum members in the states and asked if he could do something similar for Canadian members and he said he could do 15% but I'd have to speak to his superior for something like 25%.

Anyways, $1126 x 4 = $4504 x 0.85 (discount) = $3828.4 x 1.14 (Quebec/Federal Sales Tax) = $4364.38 for all 4 without rubbers...

Seems a little steep... Anyways, with that information here are my questions:

1. Is this a good price for brand new M6 wheels? What are they worth used? How much are they in the States?


2. What non OEM/BMW wheels would you suggest for a Monaco Blue E60? Where could a Canadian buy them? (I'm thinking something black or metallic, would that look good?)

are you sure bout those prices. I recall reading somewhere that 166s full set w/out tires are around 1600$ US at Newport

 

If that were so I'd buy them in an instant, I got this quote from BMW Laval: (I'm looking at 167's btw, not 166)

 

Wheather your getting a 25% discount or not, all they would do is rasie the price to make up for the difference. BMW dealerships are all ripoffs IMHO. I havent bought from this garry at newport but it seems everyone is happy buying their OEM parts from him at an awsome discount. Save your 5gs and look around more. On a side note make sure your buying runflats if you still live in MTL. 3 of my tires got screwed drving in your damm city at three different occasions. Your pot holes can eat cars!

 

Ya that is too much call BMW Toronto they have all o.e.m wheels and I remeber them charging $4500 for 21" oem wheels with rubber

 

I thought the M167 were sold for around US$2400 at Garry's.

 

I was just worried at get raped by the shipping charge, but at that price it's worth it...

What other wheels do you guys think would look good on my car? Non-BMW wheels, that is, because there seems to be a lot of nice after market wheels out there and they seem to be way cheaper than the OEM ones...

Imagine how I feel living with these roads we pay the most taxes out of any Canadian Province and we have the shittiest roads... Where does the money go?

 

why dont check out the Miros, Many people around here recommend them? Cheaper and quality replicas. Many on this forum have them, check their sig. GL

 

Do you know where I could get them/how much they cost? I'm really not ready to spend $5000 for wheels so I'm hoping that the Miro's will be significantly cheaper Seriously though, at the price I was quoted I may just look at other wheels all together...
