I wish the tires were included in that price. Just the wheels.
I have ordered the Ipod Adaptor, the snap in adaptor for my cell phone, misc. other stuff. He usually has it all in stock.

So M5 wheels can be ordered with different offsets? Why would BMW do this? I am a complete idiot when it comes to all this wheel/tire sizing stuff. Can someone explain the numbers or point me in a direction?
I want the 166's...but I live in NYC where POT-CRATERS not holes are notorious. What combo will give me the thickest possible rubber between rim and pavement and not cause rubbing?

My Ride: 2007 530xi - Black Sapphire Metalic, Black Leather
Premium package, Navigaation, Cold weather package, Satellite Radio, Rear fold-down seats.
My First BMW, and the greatest car I've ever driven.
I second the request for a beginners course in wheels/tires/sizing.
Also, who is this Gary person, and how does one get in touch with him. I'm in Boston, and would love to personalize my car a bit.

OEM Style 166 aka M5 wheels can be order with different offsets so that they can fit on a M6. To keep things simple, order the 166s with these dimensions: 19x8.5 with an offset 12 for the front, 19x9.5 with an offset 28 for the rear. The recommended tire sizes are 245/35/19 for the front and 275/30/19 for the rear. With this configuration there will be zero problems.
xi models cannot use the 166 wheels. Offset are different then non-xi models.
