M TECHNIC KIT is an aftermarket product that was certified by BMW dealers. Not an OEM. Choices are paint/install @ dealership, high performance shop, or order it yourself and find a reputable local body shop that willing to do upgrade kit for you.
As I understand it, the M Sports Kit is a BMW product. That's why many markets are supplied with fully M Kit spec E60's that are built and assembled by BMW in Germany. Aftermarket implies not made by BMW, which I don't think is the case.

You will also lack the M Sports tuned suspension which comes as standard on the UK '5xx M' cars

It never seems to amaze me how stupid BMW are when it comes to selling their own cars. The days of selling everything they make has come to an end, this is evident in the UK due to the discounts that are available. Why oh why do they not export the M sport version to the USA. You all seem to want one! We can even get a 520d version! So whats the difference shipping an SE or an M sport model from the same factory?? Anyone have any answer because I'm f***ed if I know!
It's the business of torture. BMW sell most of their cars in the US and they know us pretty well now. They know if we're willing to kick in $75k for a 550 with M looks we might be willing to kick another $20k for the M5. We probably wouldn't do much more than $75 for just the looks though, so if you toss in suspension and extra interior badging you're getting really close to the M5 price.

So what do they do? They wait. They give us the M5; we buy it (or just sit around wishing). They dribble out the body parts; we buy them too. Finally, a few year laters (and often right before a body style change) they give us the full M Pack. They are very good at making money of the US.

Can anybody please post the E60 BMW M-Kit part number?
How much does it go for at dealership? installed/unninstalled?

Is it the same as the one Bekkers sells?
http://www.bekkers.com/Merchant2/merchant....ry_Code=E60aero

Thinking about adding either Breyton spoiler, Hartge or BMW's M-kit
Thank you
