My Ride: 05 BMW 530i Orient Blue Metalic with Sport and Premium Package. Xenon Light. 35% tint, Red reflector, 123 type chrome rim.
I took my car to Las Vegas from California over the week.
I must admit, I never enjoy the trip as much as I was in my car. I ride was so smooth, silent and quiet. I crack this baby up to 135mph and yet I don?t felt any resistance from the car at all. This car is unbelievable.
What is the highest mph has any of you cranked it up to?

I wonder what the speed limiter is set at??? Anyone KNow... The e46 was limited to apprx 125 mph...

My max was 140mph. Racing with my friends' G35, 645ci and E320. I think i was last.

My manual says 152 MPH. I presume it's the limit of power, and not an electronic limit. Everything faster is limited to 155, and it always says "*" next to the speed, to indicate it's limited.
530 and 545 are both limited to 155, in Europe at least.
Done 154 in an Audi (straight bit of a German autobahn). Fun, but not as much fun as doing a track day (with corners).
