Thumbs up

Does anyone know how to get rid of the speed limiter? Not that it would do me any good stateside. Just curious.

For somebody in the tuning business it's really simple.
You have to overwrite the Vmax setting in the chip with another number, such as 300.

It doesn't matter, 500 if you want... That opens the engine up, since the limiter would kick in at a speed the engine can't reach...

Guys

Join the Police! You get paid to do it then, albeit not in a BMW but a Volvo T5 or Ford Mondeo ST220 is still good for 150 ish. They do have a 530D on the motorway but that's a seperate department.

To put higher reading to Vmax takes much less time than take controll unit out.

140mph in a 323i with modified suspension, hit the rev limiter.
