I just had my March build 545 in for it's first service (for just a few minor problems). They completed everything including an unrequested software upgrade -- and yes, when I asked, they told me it was v12.0.
I didn't really have any software-related issues, so it will be interesting to find out what v12 "fixes" for me.

Cool! I sure wish that they would list the items that change on a version. I'm not having any problems with my baby, so I'll probably wait. (unless you find something really cool that I can't live without!!!)

I'd ask them again. I've heard several people who say their dealer claimed they installed version 12.0, but when they checked, it was 11.3 - the bulletin is labeled 12.0 or something. I've been told 12.0 won't be here until September.

My dealer (Scotland) says Ver12 will not be seen til at least august if not september.(some late july build cars MIGHT get it but he doubts it.
I doubt you have ver 12 but I'd relly love to be wrong on this!

I just heard that 12.0 is now slated for End of June for centers with critical issues... It seems 12.0 is now on cars in current production in Germany... Anyone able to confirm in the next few weeks when picking up an ED?

.cda is the native CD extention. The ability to play .wav just means the drive decoder chip is newer. But who cares about .wav! .wav has a max of like 74 - 80 minutes. What you need is MP3, which can squeeze about 600 - 800 minutes of play back!
