Starting about a year after I purchased my 08 535xi from the dealer I started having battery discharge issues. The dealer has replaced the battery twice, the door handle once, and the IBS twice. All the problems were resolved except one.

Whenever its warm outside and the car has been parked long enough to heat up inside I get what I call the BSOD. After start up the instruction screen to program the Programmable Memory Keys (blue background) pops up on the iDrive, fills the screen and renders the iDrive unusable for 1-4 minutes. If I press the menu button the instruction screen clears but the button assignment tabs bar on the bottom of the iDrive stays but the iDrive is still unusable. The instruction screen cycles through for each button (sometimes 3-4 buttons, sometimes all) and then when it's done everything functions normally.

It's more of a nuisance than anything else but I'd like to get this issue resolved.

Has anyone seen this issue before? If so, how did you get it resolved?
