has anyone else experienced a problem with these cars starting? it happens when you go to hit the start button, usually it starts right away, but now its like it hesitates like it doesnt want to start, and yesterday it was hesistating and then just stopped and turned off, did it again and then finally got it to start, we've had the car since the beginning of september and about a month ago it started to do this occasionally, until more recently it does it more consistanly and takes even longer to start

and DesertBMW service department has to be the dumbest bunch of people ever to deal with, if any of you in Las Vegas have had to deal with their service manager Curtis you know what I'm talking about

any help would be greatly appreciated

2 weeks ago we had setup for the car to be brought in on the 3rd since that was the next available loaner car, so i called on Weds to see if that was the right date, they told me since i wasnt there by 8am they gave the loaner to someone else and i had to wait another 2 weeks to get another one

well, i got some good news on this particular topic. i took my car in for a check on this and it turns out that the battery started to not hold a full or good charge since the temp drop in texas. so they put new battery in, and i have not have the startup problem anymore, it starts like a champ.

you should have your dealer look at the battery if your having the same problem, hope this helps, thanks.
