Welcome Ringo! The eyebrows not working was the result of a software bug that has since been resolved. That is likely the cause and will require a software update. But I suppose a fuse could be the issue and others will have to chime in to help with that!

Thank you bro,

I took it to a BMW specialist and the software was updated but what I failed to realize at that moment were the eyebrows not working. I'm just wondering if I could fix it myself or I have to take it in. Thank you soooo much for the help.

Any experience with Dension unit ?
Thanks to all for your help.

I have a 2007 530i, and it HAD sports package on the car. I have never driven a 5 series w/o sport suspension so can't really compare apples to apples. As for the sport package, I have owned 3 German cars to date and the sport package was prob my favorite of them all. Great handling and no harsh "lowered feeling" at all. Personally, the lower the better but for your wife - lower center of gravity should equate to a safer ride that handles better in emergencies and cornering. Unfortunately I only kept the sport susp on for 2.5 months until switching to c/o's but wouldn't buy without it. With that said, I agree with the above statement in that it should not make or break a deal on a better car.

As for the ipod ~ the programming ALONE is $700-800 and then the unit. I went with the Denison 500 for numerous reasons (can access ipod normally) thru idrive vs dealer unit that only allows playlists and a limit on the # of songs it will hold.

** I have a set of the 530 sport suspension (like new) and wheels with BRAND NEW run flats just sitting in the garage that came off the car when I purchased it 6 months ago (and it is going nowhere due to mod's). If you purchase a car w/o sport susp and would like to look into buying a used set then pm me and we can talk biz...

Hope this helps and good luck with the purchase!

yeah but that doesn't really help the guy. WHY is it a must? i think the guy wants reasons, not statements. no offense.

Well Folks,

It looks like,

1)- Sports package is not an issue atleast it has the comfort seating package (sports seats).
2)- Logic-7: No biggie as either i can upgrade the speakers or better yet,get the Denison 500 unit.
3)- The car does have an AUX Audio port so atleast IPOD can be played.

However,i do have another question, does the standard HIFI sound system not have a CD changer ?

Thanks once again for all the positive responses. You guys are great

So who here is from or around Miami,FL
