OH MY $$**!!??@#_#!!???!!.Ok my lovely Bimmer Buds, we have issues. I think more than the actual magazines from Vogue or Cosmo that I have. So, this edition's headline:// My 06' 530i has got a new personality. Seems she doesn't like the cold, very rough idle and then seems to slightly bog down. But she perks back up, has a ticking noise that's a little irritating but not sure if it's just trying to warm up??. 🤔😬🫣🤨😔. Also just added is her newest contribution to mental health stability, she's smoking under the hood with a plastic-ish kinda smell. Not overheating, almost as if something has spilled somewhere in that vacinity. I love my car but I'm starting to think is she just another money pit..... I read a post earlier and someone had made reference about their 5 series, I believe a hot stripper??!!!. Rotflmao. Well I think mines a cold one.. anything you guys or gals?, any knowledge or experience with this sort of behavior??? DIY? BMW Dealership, Oil change, PCV replacement recall? ( Already done)?Belts ,Hoses, Pulleys,or Typical Female needing a Spa Day? .....

Like donpb, stated, you gotta post the codes. In doing so you might have found a place to start resolving your issues and then the forum could help with anything you're still having issues with.
